Biden is set to loosen guidelines for wearing masks outside, report says
- President Joe Biden is expected to announce updated mask-wearing guidance Tuesday, sources told CNN.
- The update will likely address whether fully vaccinated people need to wear masks outside.
- The risk of transmitting the coronavirus is much lower outdoors, and likely even lower for vaccinated folks.
People are flocking to sextech startups to stock up on lube and lingerie to prepare for a wild summer of hookups. And VCs are taking notice.
- Startup founders and investors say the "sextech" category has never been hotter.
- Half of adult Americans have gotten a COVID-19 vaccine, and that could lead to more sex this summer.
- Venture capital funding is flowing to these startups, as investors warm up to the vice category.
The EU is suing AstraZeneca over delayed delivery of its vaccine
- The European Commission has launched legal proceedings against AstraZeneca.
- AstraZeneca has delivered far fewer doses to the EU than initially promised.
- It said in January that it needed to cut Q1 deliveries by 60%, citing supply-chain issues.
